Youth Power Initiative

With a focus on education, our nonprofit organization offer a variety of healthy lifestyle activities through sports and America’s award winning SMART (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training) Moves program and workshops that target different areas of life such as alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and HIV/AIDS prevention and education for ages:13-18 year olds.

Youth Power is a 501c3 Non-profit organization founded in 2007.

The organization was created to help assist diversified inner city and rural area youth of the Trident and surrounding areas of Charleston, South Carolina through life skill training, positive mentoring, job training and placement and healthy lifestyles through sports.

Currently the organization has a major partnership with the Charleston, South Carolina Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities baseball program (RBI) and the Charleston Riverdogs a local Minor League (New York Yankees) affiliated team.

The RBI program teaches life skills through experiences around the diamond and America’s award winning SMART (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training) Moves program. Quick SMART! addresses the issues of alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and HIV/AIDS prevention and education for ages 13-18 year olds.
